Wedding photos last a lifetime, so strive to make them awesome! Here are some top tips:
Hire a professional photographer
Yes, professional wedding photographers aren’t cheap, but they are well worth it. There are lots of things you get by skimping on for your wedding, but an awesome photographer shouldn’t be one of them. Get yourself out there and start looking through portfolios for your perfect wedding photographer. One will click with you better than the rest, and that is the person you should go with. Money well spent!

Rent yourself a fabulous wedding car
I’m guessing that you don’t get to cruise around in your dream car every day of the year, so why not rent it out for your wedding day and score some fabulous wedding photographs out of it? Let your wedding photographer and your driver in on what you are looking for, and I am sure they will be more than happy to make it happen.

Pick a picture worthy location
Location is pretty crucial when it comes to wedding photographs. Sure, a good enough wedding photographer can make anything look fabulous, but help them out a bit. When you are out scouting possible wedding venues, think about where you would want your pictures to be taken. If you want a rustic vibe, look at ranches, fields with barns etc.

Have a Photo Booth
Rent a photo booth, and hire someone to run it for you during your reception. Typically the photo booth is placed somewhere obvious at the reception, for all of your happy drunk family members and friends to cram themselves into it and take funny photos. Photobooth picture strips can have the date you were married written on them along with your names, which makes a great wedding favor for guests to remember your wedding.

Photobooth Props
Depending on where you rent your photo booth from, it may come with a handful of props. This is something you will want to ask. If it doesn’t come with props, be sure to buy some. Not only is it fun for the guests, but your pictures will turn out hilarious. Look at sites like Etsy, to figure out what is out there in the world of wedding photo booth props. Think mustaches, wigs, etc.

Photo frames
Bring a bunch of unique photo frames to your wedding day for your wedding photographs. Look at Pinterest for ideas and frame inspiration! There are plenty of cute and fun ways to position the frames around your wedding party. If you don’t want to include the frames in your actually professional wedding photographs, use them as props for your photo booth.

Sparklers
Incorporate sparklers into your wedding once it gets dark. The kids will be thrilled, and most likely so will your wedding photographer. Sparklers make great pictures! Many people hand the sparklers out to their guests to create a tunnel as the bride and groom are getting ready to leave the wedding reception and get into their car.
